SALT LAKE CITY (Sept. 25, 2022) - The No. 15 ranked Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer team played to their first draw of the season, finishing in a 1-1 tie on Sunday at Westminster.
CSU Pueblo got on the board early in the match after they took throw in deep in their own territory. The pass went to
Shjon Andrews who was standing all alone from about 40 yards out and booted the ball high and across the defense to
Ricardo Schroeder Jr. who finished to get the Pack on the board. It is the fourth goal of the season for Schroeder Jr.
Holding the one goal lead, the Pack defense and the play at midfield did their part in limiting any chances to Westminster.
The Griffins evened the score in the 34th minute on their first shot in the period and went into the break tied at one apiece.
In the second half, CSU Pueblo was held to six shots in the period and relied on the defense to prevent a second goal.
Pack Head Coach

At goalkeeper,
Nils Roth gave up the one goal in full minutes played.
Twelvetrees added, "Disappointed to concede today after only giving up three shots but credit to Westminster for making it difficult fo us. We are looking forward to 4 games at home over the next two weeks."
