COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (May 2, 2022) – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) named
Sedona Sargent to the 2022 RMAC Women's Lacrosse All-Academic First Team Monday afternoon following the conclusion of the 2022 regular season this past weekend.
Emily Eller, Ashley Hendricks, Baylee Mee, Cameron Rogers and
Paige Scarbrough were each included on the Academic Honor Roll.
Sargent was a bright spot for the ThunderWolves on and off the field of play this season. In the classroom, Sargent continued to maintain a 3.94 GPA as a Biology major. The midfielder finished fourth on the team with 18 goals scored while she dished out six assists to rank third on the team in sharing the wealth. Sargent was the main Pack player taking draws this season and helped the Pack secure 236 draw controls.
Sargent's 3.94 GPA ranks fifth on the RMAC All-Academic team and leads all Pack players.
Eller secured an Honor Roll nod with a 3.36 GPA, as the graduate student attacker will retire her career as the all-time leading scorer in CSU Pueblo history and a four-time RMAC All-Academic honoree.
Claiming another Honor Roll award, Hendricks had her most lucrative season for the Pack this season, as she scored a career-high and team leading 32 goals. She continued with her excellence in the classroom with a 3.73 GPA as an Athletic Training major. Also in the midfield, Mee claimed her second consecutive All-Academic Honor Roll award after she secured a 3.60 GPA. Mee led the Pack with 70 draw controls in the 2022 season.
Rogers secured herself an Honor Roll spot with a 3.53 GPA as a health sciences major while Scarbrough rounded out the Pack's All-Academic efforts with an honor off a 3.80 GPA, also as a health sciences major.
The ThunderWolves' 2022 season drew to an end Saturday afternoon with a 3-13 overall record and 3-9 RMAC finish.
