COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (March 2, 2022) – The Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC) named Alisha Davis and JaNaiya Davis to the All-RMAC First Team, as announced by the league Wednesday. Colorado State University Pueblo had five total names on the All-RMAC list to lead all conference programs.

Jazzy Hughes took home a Second Team All-RMAC honor while Kansas Watts and Ro Dominguez earned spots on the All-RMAC Honorable Mention list.

Alisha Davis (Jr., Aurora, Colo.) dominated as forward in her inaugural season at CSU Pueblo. The junior has only logged 22 games of the 29 possible, but made the most of them as the team's leading scorer, rebounder and shot blocker. She also led the RMAC through the regular season in shots blocked after totaling 63 through the 21 regular season games played.

Alisha Davis has pulled down 65 blocks in 22 games to mark the fourth-most in program history while her 16.3 points per game rank her eighth. In the RMAC, the junior ranks first in blocks, first in blocks per game, third in rebounds, fourth in field goal percentage, fifth in scoring and ninth in steals. The well-rounded presence down low allowed the junior transfer to dominate and plague the RMAC foes on both ends of the floor throughout the 2021-22 season.

In the guard position and earning her fourth All-RMAC honor was JaNaiya Davis (Jr., Hewitt, Texas). The guard earned her first career First Team All-RMAC accolade after running a historic 2021-22 campaign. Keeping in theme with her career, JaNaiya Davis excelled on both ends of the floor, scoring 9.7 points per game, dishing out three assists per game, averaging 5.7 rebounds per game and nabbing 2.1 steals per game. She led the Pack with 62 steals to sit fifth in the RMAC and totaled 90 assists on the season to rank sixth in the conference.

The Hewitt, Texas guard made a climb up the CSU Pueblo program records throughout the season. In career totals, JaNaiya Davis ranks second all-time in assists (423), second all-time in steals (235), eighth all-time in points scored (1208) and 10th all-time in rebounds (587).

Hughes (Sr., Tucson, Ariz.) earned her first All-RMAC honor after an impressive season as the Pack's consistent first player of the bench. As a spark plug for the ThunderWolves, Hughes has averaged 8.5 points and 5.0 rebounds across 27 games played on the season. The forward has maintained her role as a consistent force on both offense and defense, owning the highest shooting percentage on the ThunderWolves while also dishing out 41 assists, swiping 30 steals and making 18 blocks throughout the season.

Dominguez (Jr., Denver) and Watts (Sr. Houston) earned spots on the All-RMAC Honorable Mention list as two of the driving forces on both offense and defense.

Dominguez has had a strong inaugural season with the Pack after shooting her way through the season from 3-point land. The transfer junior has sunk 48 3-pointers and has carried a .399 shooting percentage through 29 games played.

Watts earned her first All-RMAC honor after a season that featured the forward acting as the enforcer for the Pack. While being the hustler for the ThunderWolves, Watts averaged 5.2 points per game, carried a .522 field goal percentage, snagged 34 steals and swatted 26 blocks.

CSU Pueblo looks to keep its record-setting season going in the RMAC Tournament which continues Friday night. The Pack will play at Colorado School of Mines at 5:30 p.m. as the top-seeded Orediggers host the ThunderWolves in Golden, Colo. for the Semifinals of the RMAC Tournament.
