PUEBLO, Colo. (November 19, 2022) - Colorado State University Pueblo men's basketball, led by sophomore
Isaiah Thompson's career high 24 points and 14 rebounds, cruised to a 103-35 victory over Bacone College on the final day of the 38th Annual Al Kaly Shrine Classic and remained unbeaten on the young season.
Thompson finished 9-of-14 from the field and went 6-of-8 from the charity stripe in 23 minutes of action.
The ThunderWolves finished with six players in double figures.
CSU Pueblo put up 50 points in the first half and another 53 points during the second half. They never trailed in the contest.
Elijah Moleon finished one rebound shy of a double-double and added ten points.
The ThunderWolves totaled a season-high 20 steals and scored 24 points off turnovers.
CSU Pueblo (4-0) stays at home next week and will host the Thanksgiving Classic. The ThunderWolves take on Minnesota State Moorhead on Friday and will face Minot State on Saturday, both games will begin at 7 p.m. inside Massari Arena.
