PUEBLO, Colo. (November 25, 2022) – Colorado State Univeristy Pueblo men's basketball team suffered the first loss of the young season, dropping a 70-63 decision against Minnesota State Moorhead on the first night of the Thanksgiving Classic inside Massari Arena.
The leading scorer for the Pack was
Elijah Moleon who finished with 18 points in the loss.
Sophomore
Moses Demalek also finished with 13 points to his name.
Poor shooting from beyond the arc hurt the Pack as they only shot 14% on three-pointers on the day compared to the 28% of the Dragons. Missed opportunities in the last minute of the game also allowed the Dragons to finish strong as they solidified their win with a three-pointer in the last second of the game.
The Dragons had five players score in double figures and led by nine points at the half before their ultimate victory in the end.
