PUEBLO, Colo. (May 6, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo baseball team hosts No. 1 Colorado Mesa University May 7-9 in a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference series. Friday will feature a doubleheader at 1 p.m., then Saturday is the annual Pack the Park event at Runyon Field. The finale will be a Sunday contest back at Rawlings Field beginning at 12 p.m.
The ThunderWolves are 13-18 overall and 11-16 in RMAC play. The Pack didn't play last weekend due to COVID-19 testing and protocol. The team's last action was a doubleheader April 24 where the ThunderWolves split a home twin bill with Colorado Christian University.Â
The Mavericks sit No. 1 in NCAA Division II with a 30-2 record, which includes a 27-1 RMAC mark. CMU has won 18 straight games.Â
