The ThunderWolves finished the regular season 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the RMAC. The Griffins went 5-5 overall and 3-2 in league play. In the lone meeting between the teams this year, Westminster won 17-11. The Pack only trailed 6-5 at the half in that game, but allowed nine goals in the third to dig a hole they couldn't get back out of. The ThunderWolves are coming off an 8-6 home victory against Adams State University, while Westminster lost their last contest 17-6 at CMU.
CSU Pueblo is making its third appearance (2018 and 2019) in the RMAC Tournament. It is the second time the ThunderWolves have been the No. 3 seed (2019). The Pack lost to Colorado Mesa in their first two appearances.
