The Pack had just two hits through seven innings, but were able to score three runs off of four hits in the eighth. Brock Rodrigues (So., Utility, Pueblo, Colo.) got things started with an infield single and then moved to second when Aidan Welch (Jr., INF, Seattle, Wash.) singled to center. With two outs, Ty Lewis (Jr., INF, Pleasant Grove, Utah) delivered a bases-clearing double to left center to produce two RBI. After a pitching change by the Cougars, Matt Shea (Sr., INF, Corona, Calif.) singled to center to score Lewis.
