Pack fall 1-0 in home finale against Fort Lewis

PUEBLO, Colo. (April 3, 2021) - Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer dropped its final home game of the regular season Sunday, losing 1-0 against Fort Lewis College.

In the match, CSU Pueblo finished with nine shots including two landing on frame. Cara Siegel (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) led all players with three shots.

Prior to the game, the Pack honored and recognized Kristin Guin (Alamogordo, NM) who played in her final home game as a member of the Pack.

The ThunderWolves totaled six corner kicks, five of which came in the first half and held the Skyhawks four total attempts.

The Pack's best scoring opportunity came off a corner kick in the 48' and Siegel's shot attempt was saved by the FLC goalkeeper.

Pack goalkeeper Nicole Genis (So., San Jose, Costa Rica) made four saves and faced ten shots.

CSU Pueblo (3-2-1, 1-1-1 RMAC) will finish the regular season this week with two matches on the road. On Wednesday, the Pack will travel and face Colorado Christian at 12 p.m. at Trailblazer Stadium in Lakewood. The regular season will wrap Friday when the team heads to take on Western Colorado University at 3 p.m. in Gunnison, Colo.
