Head Coach Comments:
"After a long 16 months, it feels so good to be back on the field with this special group of young women. The team has been working hard in training the last few weeks and have shown a lot of progress in our ability to keep and move the ball, and in our defensive organization."
"The opportunity to compete against a strong Mesa team showed us where we have opportunities to continue to grow as a group, including our discipline and patience with the ball."Â
"Overall, I'm please with the effort and desire today and I'm excited for what's to come!"
CSU Pueblo (1-0) will return home and host UCCS Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
