PUEBLO, Colo. (February 5, 2021) – Colorado State University Pueblo Women's Basketball will welcome Black Hills State University to Massari Arena Saturday at 4 p.m. The Pack will also visit University of Colorado Colorado Springs Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Due to COVID 19 safety protocols, no fans will be allowed at Massari Arena Saturday or at the Gallogy Events Center Monday.

Starting 5 – The Top 5 CSU-Pueblo storylines
1. The ThunderWolves bring a 1-9 record into the weekend with a 1-9 mark in RMAC play. The Pack's fourth quarter rally was not enough to get them past South Dakota Mines Tuesday night as the Hardrockers prevailed 73-65.

Sydni Williams (Sr., Little Rock, Ark.) scored a season-high 22 points against the Hardrockers Tuesday. Williams added 10 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. She now has nine double-doubles in her career. This ties Williams for ninth all-time at CSU Pueblo.Another double-double would vault her into a tie with Sherry Vallejos for eighth all-time in school history. Williams leads the Pack with 14.7 points per game, ninth in the RMAC.

JaNaiya Davis (Jr., Waco, Texas) leads the RMAC with 5.3 assists per game. Davis ranks 18th in D-II in assists per game. She needs three assists to reach 300 for her career. With five assists, Davis will pass Shawana McElroy for sixth all-time at CSU Pueblo. Davis needs 19 points to vault pass Lauren Westerman and Micki Smith into 21st all-time.

Davis ranks 13th in D-II with 3.1 assists per game. She stands second in the RMAC with steals per game. Davis leads the RMAC with an 88.9 free throw percentage. Williams ranks sixth in the RMAC with an 81.8 free throw percentage. Davis and Williams are the best free throw shooting duo in the conference.

Kianna Lemons (Fr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) scored a career-high 12 points against the Hardrockers. Jazzy Hughes (Sr., Tucson, Ariz.) has scored 10 or more points in each of her last four games. She is shooting 59.3 percent from the field during this streak. Hughes has made 5-of-6 from downtown over her last four games.
Scouting Black Hills State:
2020-21 Record: Black Hills State brings a 9-4 record into the weekend. The Yellow Jackets currently finds itself on a three-game winning streak.
Series History: The Pack leads the all-time series 15-5. The Yellow Jackets won the most recent meeting Feb. 7, 2020. This snapped a streak of eight straight victories in the series for the Pack. Davis has averaged 16.50 points per game against the Yellow Jackets in her career.
Players to Watch: Racquel Wientjes ranks second in the RMAC with 20.3 points per game.
Scouting UCCS:
2020-21 Record: The Mountain Lions enter the weekend with a 2-8 record. They have lost three in a row.
Series History: The Pack leads the all-time series against the Mountain Lions 41-21. The ThunderWolves beat the Mountain Lions 62-50 Jan. 16 at Massari Arena. Davis had 16 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in the win.
Player to Watch: Abby Feickert leads the Mountain Lions with 13.6 points per game. She scored 15 points in the loss to the Pack earlier this season.
