DURANGO, Colo. (February 27, 2021) - Colorado State University Pueblo volleyball picked up its second straight Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference win Saturday, sweeping Fort Lewis College in three sets (25-18, 25-18, 29-27) inside Fort Lewis Fieldhouse.
For the match, CSU Pueblo was led by
Hannah Delor (Jr., Marysville, Mich.) who finished with a team-high 12 kills.
Bailey Combs (So., Fresno, Calif.) ended with double-digit kills with ten.
CSU Pueblo outhit Fort Lewis .294 to .182 for the match.
Grace Jansen (So., South Jordan, Utah.) and
Grace Hern (Jr., Omaha, Neb.) set the pace for the offense, scoring 21 and 17 assists, respectively.
Defensively,
Payton Stack (Sr., Casper, Wyo.) recorded three blocks.
Junior
Jazzy Espinoza (Cheyenne, Wyo.) had a strong outing, posting five aces and recording two blocks for the Pack.
CSU Pueblo (4-2, 2-1 RMAC) will stay on the road next week and play a pod Saturday at Westminster College. The Pack will first face-off against South Dakota Mines at 2 p.m. and will finish the day against host-Westminster at 5 p.m. in Salt Lake City.
