Pack Volleyball faces Skyhawks in Saturday showdown

PUEBLO, Colo. (February 26, 2020) – Colorado State University Pueblo Volleyball continues its string of six matches away from home Saturday with a 6 p.m. stop at Fort Lewis College.

Pack Notes:
The Pack enters the weekend 3-2 overall in 2021. They started Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play 1-1 with a loss to No. 4 Metropolitan State University Denver, but bounced back and beat Colorado Christian University in four sets.
 
The ThunderWolves continue to receive votes in the American Volleyball Coaches Association poll. They have now been receiving votes for four consecutive weeks, their longest streak since Aug. 11 to Sept. 22, 1998.
 
CSU Pueblo ranks No. 16 in aces per set. Their 1.84 aces per set ranks second in the RMAC.
 
Payton Stack (Sr., Casper, Wyo.) leads the RMAC with 1.26 blocks per set. She ranks 14th in D-II in blocks per set.
 
Hannah Delor (Jr., Marysville, Mich.) leads the RMAC with 0.67 aces per set. Delor ranks 10th in D-II in aces per set.
 
Jazzy Espinoza (Jr., Cheyenne, Wyo.) ranks fifth in the RMAC with a .333 hitting percentage. She shares the team lead with eight service aces.
 
Grace Hern (Jr., Omaha, Neb.) leads the Pack with 4.95 assists per set. Hern had five kills and hit .625 in the win over the Cougars. Grace Jansen (So., South Jordan, Utah) averages 3.69 assists per set.
 
Elaine Thibdadeau (Jr., Monument, Colo.) averages a team-best 3.53 assists per set. She ranks 10th in the RMAC in digs per set.
 
Bailey Combs (So., Fresno, Calif.) set a season-high with 11 kills in the win over the Cougars. Maddy Wisniewski (Sr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) had a team-high 12 kills and hut .478 in that win.

Last Meeting: The Pack swept the Skyhawks in both meetings last season including a 21-21, 26-24, 25-22 win in Durango Nov. 9.
