Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

Pack drop 3-0 match at No. 21 Mines

GOLDEN, Colo. (October 31, 2021) - The Colorado State University Pueblo women's soccer team dropped a 3-0 match at No. 21 Colorado School of Mines Sunday at the Orediggers' Stermole Stadium.

The ThunderWolves totaled six shots in the game and earned two corner kicks.

Mines scored the first goal during the 15th minute on a chip in pass and shot that hit the crossbar and landed inside the net for the one goal lead.

CSU Pueblo was unable to get things going throughout the match and any scoring chances created were quickly shut down by the Mines defense.

Nicole Genis (So., San Jose, Costa Rica) made seven saves in the effort.

Mines added two more goals in the second half less than two minutes apart to seal the win.

CSU Pueblo (9-6-1, 8-2-1 RMAC) will close out the regular season Wednesday on the road at UCCS. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. at Mountain Lion Stadium.
