CSU Pueblo dominated the match, outshooting the Mountain Lions by a 23-4 clip and recorded seven shots on goal.
The ThunderWolves offense was active all night and totaled nine corner kicks.
The Pack was led by Zingel's six shots and
Carlos Sanchis (Grad., Madrid, Spain) tallied four shots and two going on goal.
"Fantastic team performance," said Pack Head Coach
Oliver Twelvetrees. "Our pressing was excellent and caused lots of problems for UCCS. We created a lot of chances and put in a top performance."
Pack goalkeeper and reigning-RMAC Goalkeeper of the Week
Garret Wild (Jr., Brownsville, Tex.) earned himself a seventh shutout of the season and made one save against the four shots from UCCS.
Twelvetrees added, "If we can continue playing with this level of intensity, we will be tough to beat in the playoffs. If we can win Friday at MSUD, I am hopeful we can secure a deserved home playoff game next week. It's been a great season and we are hungry for more."
CSU Pueblo (12-4-1, 5-3-1 RMAC) will close out the regular season Friday at MSU Denver. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m. in Denver.
