Starting 5 – The Top 5 CSU-Pueblo storylines
1. The ThunderWolves have not played in almost a month. In their last game, they battled then No. 24 Colorado Mesa University for three quarters, before the Mavericks pulled away with an 81-67 victory. The Pack is 0-3 for the first time since 1998-99. They are looking to avoid their first 0-4 start to Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play since 2001-02

JaNaiya Davis (Jr., Waco, Texas) leads the RMAC with 38.3 minutes per game. This is fifth-most in D-II. She ranked fourth in D-II in minutes per game last season. Davis also ranks second among qualified players with a 92.3 free throw percentage. She entered the season ranked eighth in program history in free throw percentage (76.8 percent).

Sydni Williams (Sr., Little Rock, Ark.) sank all seven of her free throw attempts in the Pack's game against Colorado Mesa. Williams ranks ninth all-time at CSU Pueblo in free throw accuracy, making 73.7 percent at the stripe. She also sank her 200th free throw as a ThunderWolf in that game against the Mavericks.
4. Davis leads the Pack with 16.7 points per game. Williams ranks second on the team with 14.7 points per game. The duo is the third highest scoring pair of teammates in the RMAC this season. Both Davis and Williams make an impact defensively. Williams ranks second in the RMAC with 1.7 blocks per game. Davis ranks second with 3.0 steals per game.
5. Davis needs 15 assists to match Sharla Dix for eighth all-time at CSU Pueblo. Williams needs 12 blocks to move into 6th all-time at CSU Pueblo. She also needs 28 rebounds to join the Pack's all-time top 25 in boards. Davis needs 50 points to enter the Pack's all-time 25 scoring list.

2020-21 Record: UCCS enters the weekend with a 1-2 record. They have lost their last two games.
Series History: The Pack leads the all-time series against the Mountain Lions 40-21. The two teams split the two meetings last year, with UCCS winning at home. Davis drained a buzzer beater to give the Pack a 59-56 victory on home court last season. CSU Pueblo is 11-9 in its last 20 meetings with the Mountain Lions.
Player to Watch: Abby Feickert leads the Mountain Lions with 13.3 points per game. Feickert tops the RMAC with a 93.3 free throw percentage.
