PUEBLO, Colo. (February 29, 2020)- Colorado State University-Pueblo Baseball blasted four home runs to beat Adams State 12-5 Saturday at Rawlings Field.
Reggie Williams (So., Castle Rock, Colo.) smashed the first home run of his Pack career. On at-bat later Williams hit the second home run of his college career. Williams finished 2-for-3 with a walk.
Ty Lewis (Jr., Pleasant Grove, Utah) totaled a team-high four RBIs. Lewis finished the day 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles. He has now has nine RBIs in his last three games.
Billy Reyes (R-Sr., Yucaipa, Calif.) clubbed his second home run of the season. Reyes went 2-for-3 with two runs scored. He also added a RBI.
Easton Adler (Sr., Mead, Colo.) scored three runs. Adler went 2-for-5 with a double.
Mike Gonzalez (Jr., Los Angeles, Calif.) also scored twice and hit a double.
DeVaughn Gales (Jr., Magnolia, Ark.) belted his first home run with the Pack. Gales'Â two-run shot that gave the Pack the lead at 7-5 in the fifth.
Aidan Welch (Jr., Seattle, Wash.) went 2-for-5. Welch now has two hits in each of his last four games.
JC Hatch (Sr., Corona, Calif.) earned his second win in as many games. Hatch now has a 2-0 record on the season. The lefty threw 3.2 scoreless innings of relief. Hatch struck out five batters, while holding the Grizzlies to just two hits and a walk.
Rocco Arguto (Sr., Pueblo West, Colo.) threw a spotless ninth to help the Pack clinch the win.
The Pack now stands 7-4 on the season. Adams State fell to 4-9.
These two teams will meet Sunday in the Pack's last non-conferenc e game on the schedule. First pitch from Rawlings Field is slated for 12 p.m.
