2/27/2020 12:51:00 PM

PUEBLO, Colo. (February 27, 2020) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will host New Mexico Highlands University Friday at 5:30 p.m. in the Pack's final home game and final regular season game of 2019-20 at Massari Arena.

Promotions:
In addition to celebrating Senior Day, Friday's game will be Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. All CSU-Pueblo Faculty & Staff will receive Free General Admission tickets for Friday's game for themselves and up to four guests. Pack Athletics will also recognize its student-athletes who achieved a 3.0 GPA or higher during halftime of the Men's Basketball game on Honor Roll Night.

Starting 5 – The Top 5 CSU-Pueblo storylines
1. Khiya Adams (Sr., Falcon, Colo.) will celebrate her Senior Day. Adams has played in 110 games, 10th-most in program history. Her 425 career rebounds also places her in the top 25 in program history. Adams has totaled 703 points in her career. She has scored 11.4 points per game in her last two seasons with the Pack.

2. Annabelle Brewer (Sr., Centennial, Colo.) will also be recognized on Senior Day. Brewer played seven games a junior. She appeared in the first two games this season, before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Brewer scored 1.1 points per game as a junior.

3. JaNaiya Davis (So., Hewitt, Texas) led the Pack to a win over Metro State University Denver by sinking a buzzer-beater with two seconds left. It was Davis' second buzzer beater in as many weeks as she helped the Pack beat University of Colorado Colorado Springs with a 3-pointer as time expired. Davis leads the Pack with 16.4 points per game. Her 16.4 points per game would be the 10th-highest single-season average in program history.

4. Sydni Williams (Jr., Little Rock, Ark.) shares the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference-lead with 1.6 blocks per game.  This average would tie her for the 15th-highest single-season average in program history. The Pack leads the RMAC and ranks 13th in D-II in blocks per game. They have led the RMAC in blocks every season since 2016-17.
5. Davis ranks sixth in D-II in minutes per game. She has played 38.31 minutes per game, three more minutes per game than anyone else in the RMAC. Davis also leads the RMAC with 4.9 assists per game, 25th-most in D-II. If she can maintain this average against the Cowgirls, she could post the fifth-highest single-season average in program history. She needs eight assists to enter the top 10 in program history.
