PUEBLO, Colo. (February 20, 2020) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will hit the road for the final time in the 2019-20 season as they visit Chadron State College Friday and Metro State University Denver Saturday. Friday's showdown with the Eagles tips off at 5:30 p.m., while Saturday's contest starts at 5 p.m.

Starting 5 – The Top 5 CSU-Pueblo storylines
1. The ThunderWolves share 10th place in D-II with 124 total blocks this season. CSU-Pueblo leads the RMAC and ranks 11th in D-II with 5.2 blocks per game. The Pack averages 1.0 block per game more than the Roadrunners who rank second in blocks per game in the RMAC. The Pack has led the conference in blocks every year since 2016-17.

JaNaiya Davis leads the RMAC with 4.9 assists per game. Davis ranks 29th in D-II in apg. Her assists per game average ties her for the fifth-highest assists per game average in program history. She needs 14 assists to enter the Pack's all-time top five. After playing all 80 minutes last weekend, Davis now averages 38.2 minutes per game, eighth-most in D-II. She plays three minutes per game more than anyone else in the RMAC.

Sydni Williams ranks second in the RMAC with 1.6 blocks per game. With 38 blocks, Williams has 14 more blocks than the entire Eagles team combined. Williams ranks fifth in the RMAC with 8.0 rebounds per game.
4. Davis leads the Pack with 16.1 points per game. She ranks fifth in the RMAC in scoring. Her 16.1 points per game ranks as the 10th-highest single-season scoring average in program history. Davis ranks second in the RMAC with 2.5 steals per game.
5. The ThunderWolves will miss the RMAC Tournament for the first time since 2001-2002. This ends the longest postseason streak in the RMAC. The Pack's string of dominating seasons since 2002 has included winning seasons every year, six RMAC Tournament Championships and two RMAC Regular Season Championships. The Pack has also not lost to the Eagles since the 2001-2002 season.

2019-20 Record: 5-23 (3-16 RMAC)
Series History: The ThunderWolves lead the all-time series against the Eagles 25-5. The Pack has won the last 23 meetings between the two schools, including a 78-67 win at Massari Arena earlier this season.
Player to Watch: Taryn Foxen tops the Eagles with 14.9points per game. She leads the team with 4.1 assists per game this season.
Scouting MSU Denver:
2019-20 Record: 11-14 (10-9 RMAC)
Series History: The Roadrunners hold a 34-22 lead in the all-time series. MSU Denver has won the last five meetings after knocking off the Pack 57-51 earlier this season.
Player to Watch: Bree Wellington averages a team-best 9.8 points per game. Wellington makes 46.9 percent from the field.
