Pack VB makes home debut vs.Mountaineers & Mavericks

PUEBLO, Colo. (September 19, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball will take the court at Massari Arena for the first time in 2019 as the ThunderWolves host Western Colorado University at 7 p.m. Friday and Colorado Mesa University at 2 p.m. Saturday.

Promotions:
Friday's game will be an end of the summer party at Massari Arnea. Fans are encouraged to wear summer/ beach gear to the game. CSU-Pueblo students can also get free pizza.

Pack notes:
The ThunderWolves went 2-2 at the Southeastern Classic. Maddy Wisniewski (Jr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) earned All-Southeastern Classic Team honors. Wisniewski averaged 2.31 kills per set. She also had seven blocks.

Wisniewski leads Pack regulars with a .245 hitting percentage. She shares the Pack's lead in kills per set with Sarah Vang (Sr., Parker, Colo.) at 2.13 kills per set.

Kyle Meltzer (Jr., Fort Collins, Colo.) ranks eighth in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with 4.32 digs per set. Meltzer leads the Pack with 12 service aces and 0.39 aces per set.

Three ThunderWolves average more than 0.75 blocks per set. Diamond'Nique Young (Fr., Fresno, Calif.) leads the Pack with 0.82 blocks per set. Jazzy Espinoza (So., Cheyenne, Wyo.) averages 0.81 blocks per set and Payton Stack (Jr., Casper, Wyo.) blocks 0.75 attacks per set. No ThunderWolf averaged more than 0.70 blocks per set last season.

This weekend's matches will begin RMAC play. The Pack enters RMAC play 2-6.
