PUEBLO, Colo. (April 11, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Baseball's eight-game homestand rolls along as the Pack play host to Colorado School of Mines in a four-game series. The Pack and Orediggers will begin this four-game series Friday at 3 p.m.
The two teams will meet in a doubleheader Saturday starting at 1 p.m. The ThunderWolves and the Orediggers will wrap up this series Sunday at 12 p.m.

Pack Notes:
- The Pack went 2-2 against then No. 1 Colorado Mesa University last weekend at Rawlings Field. After scoring the two highest outputs against the Mavericks this season, the Pack stands 17-16 overall. They are 12-8 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. Currently in sixth place in the RMAC standings, the Pack sits just one game out of third place.
- CSU-Pueblo ranks 13th in D-II with 10.5 K/9 inning. The ThunderWolves have struck out 303 batters, 38 hitters more than any other team in the RMAC.

Beau Brieske (Jr., Chandler, Ariz.) leads the RMAC with 78 strikeouts. He ranks 10th in D-II in strikeouts and 13th in K/9 innings (13.76). Brieske has fanned 15 more than anyone else in the conference.

Josh Dahl (Sr., Glendale, Ariz.) has struck out 25 batters looking, the most in the RMAC and six more than second place Brieske. Dahl ranks third in the RMAC with 62 strikeouts.

Andrew Coverly (Jr., Centennial, Colo.) ranks second in the RMAC with five saves. Coverly's five saves are the most by a Pack pitcher since Wyndham Williams had 9 saves in 2015. Coverly has 21 strikeouts in 17.1 innings.

Gilbert Sauceda (Sr., Indio, Calif.) shares the RMAC's lead with 26 walks. Sauceda tied the program record of 134 career walks set by Chase Lacomb. He needs 17 walks to match the RMAC record. The Pack's first baseman ranks third in the RMAC with a .511 on base percentage. He is hitting a career-high .385 and slugging a career-best .538. He has reached base safely in 32 of the Pack's 33 games this season.

Rion Santamaria (Jr., Yorba Linda, Calif.) ranks fifth in the RMAC with a .411 batting average. Santmaria's .504 OBP ranks fourth in the RMAC.

Dakota Popham (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) ranks sixth in the RMAC with 34 RBIs. Popham's .397 average ranks ninth in the conference as does his .479 OBP. The Pack's third baseman has a hit in each of his last 14 games. Popham hit .500 with six RBIs and scored seven runs against the Mavericks.
Scouting Mines:
- The Orediggers enter the weekend with a 22-9 record overall. They sit one game ahead of the Pack with a 13-7 record in RMAC play. The Orediggers won five of the six meetings between the two teams last season.
- Mines ranks sixth in D-II in home runs. They average 1.58 long balls per game, third-most nationally. Derek Daly is the Orediggers top power threat with 14 home runs this season, second-most in the RMAC.
- Trevor Kehe earned NCBWA National Hitter of the Week honors with a 12-for-15 performance at Dixie State University. Drew Hill claimed RMAC Pitcher of the Week honors, giving the Orediggers the RMAC Player of the Week sweep.
