(March 4, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball begins its quest for a second consecutive Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference / Under Armour Tournament Championship Tuesday when the No. 5 seeded Pack plays No. 4 seed Colorado School of Mines at 6 p.m. at Lockridge Arena in Golden, Colo.

The "Starting Five" - CSU-Pueblo's Top Storylines
1. The Pack will defend the RMAC Tournament Championship they won last season, defeating Black Hills State University in the finals 84-69 at Massari Arena. CSU-Pueblo has won six RMAC Tournament Championships, tying them for the most all-time.
2. The Pack has advanced to 17 consecutive RMAC Tournaments, the longest active streak in the conference. Tuesday's game will be the first time the Pack has competed on the road in the first round since 2013. The Pack has not played a true road game in the RMAC Tournament since 2015. The Pack sits 12-4 in first round RMAC Tournament matches during this appearance streak.
3. With 22 points against New Mexico Highlands University,
Jennah Knafelc (Sr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) passed 1,000 points for her college career (621 points at CSU-Pueblo). Knafelc has averaged 22.33 points per game over last three contests. She ranks fourth in the RMAC with 15.1 points per game. She needs one more 3-pointer to reach 200 for her college career. Knafelc ranks third in the RMAC with 2.3 steals per game.
4. The Pack remains the RMAC's best blocking team. They average 4.74 blocks per game, which ranks 20th in D-II. The ThunderWolves average 1.18 blocks per game more than any other team in the RMAC. Their 130 total blocks ranks 21st in D-II and first in the South Central Region. The ThunderWolves have led the RMAC in blocks in each of the last three seasons.

Khiya Adams (Jr., Falcon, Colo.) picked up her sixth double-double of the season with 11 points and 11 rebounds against NMHU. Adams ranks ninth in the RMAC with 7.2 rebounds per game. Her 51.6 field goal percentage ranks third in the conference.
Records Watch:
- Knafelc's 36.6 career 3-point percentage would set a school record. She jumped into seventh in program history with 112 career 3-pointers, thanks to four treys against the Cowgirls. Knafelc's 72 3-pointers this season ties her with
Dee Arrieta for third all-time at CSU-Pueblo. She needs four more to enter second all-time on the Pack's single-season leaderboard.

Lauren Heyn (Sr., Penryn, Calif.) ranks seventh all-time at CSU-Pueblo with 628 career rebounds. She needs 24 more board to jump into sixth all-time. Her .500 career field goal percentage ties her third all-time at CSU-Pueblo with Shannon Grace. Heyn's 105 career blocks ranks fifth all-time.
Scouting Mines:
- The Orediggers earned the No. 4 seed thanks to a 14-8 record in RMAC play. Mines stands 17-10 overall. Their two wins over the Pack this season helped them clinch the home game and the No.4 seed due to a tiebreaker. The Pack leads the all-time series 37-19.
- Mines remains the best rebounding team in the conference. They average 42.3rebounds per game, most in the RMAC. The Orediggers average 9.1 rebounds per game more than their opponents, the best rebounding margin of any RMAC team and the 13th-best rebounding margin in D-II.
- Denali Pinto leads the Orediggers with 14.6points per game. Pinto ranks fifth in the RMAC in points per game.
