MORE ABOUT Lax-4-Life, Inc.
https://www.lax-4-life.org
In the spring of 2009, an idea was brought to the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Women's Lacrosse Coaches by Ginny Martino (Head coach West Chester University). That idea was to tackle an issue college coaches, teams and communities deal with everyday...adolescent suicide and life after suicide. During the 2009 season, 10 teams across the state of Pennsylvania participated in games and raised funds for the Allyson Rose Green Memorial Foundation (
www.allysonsfund.org); a foundation started after the younger sister of a West Chester University player committed suicide at the age of 16. As a result
LAX-4-LIFE was born.
