PUEBLO, Colo. (March 14, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Baseball will host Regis University in a four-game series starting Friday at 6 p.m. The Pack and Rangers will meet in the series opener at 6 p.m. Friday at Rawlings Field. There will be a double header Saturday at 1 p.m. This series will conclude Sunday at 12 p.m.

Friday's game will be another Youth Day at Rawlings Field. All kids 17 & under will receive free admission to Friday night's game. All weekend long fans can buy a hot dog and a beer for just $5.
Pack Notes:
- The Pack split its first series of Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play going 2-2 against Metro State University Denver. CSU-Pueblo sits 7-9 overall.

Beau Brieske (Jr., Chandler, Ariz.) earned RMAC Pitcher of the Week accolades. Brieske shutdown the Roadrunners, who entered the weekend leading the RMAC in batting average, over eight innings of work. The righty struck out 10 batters, while surrendering no earned runs. Brieske limited the Roadrunners to seven base runners and just three hits.
- Brieske leads the RMAC with 51 strikeouts. He ranks seventh in D-II with 16.01 k/9 innings. Brieske's 51 strikeouts also rank in the top 10 nationally. He has eight more strikeouts than anyone else in the conference and 18 more than anyone not on his own team.

Gilbert Sauceda (Sr., Indio, Calif.) shares the RMAC lead with 17 walks. He ranks 28th in D-II and first in the RMAC with 1.06 walks per game. Sauceda's .520 OBP ranks second among RMAC starters.
- Sauceda continues his climb towards the Pack and RMAC's all-time walks lead with 125 career walks. The Pack's First Baseman needs 10 walks to pass Chase LaComb for the Pack's career lead in walks. He needs 27 walks to become the RMAC's record holder.

Josh Dahl (Sr., Glendale, Ariz.) earned his second win of the season and threw his first complete game to lead the Pack to a win over the Roadrunners. Dahl fanned 10 batters and picked up the win for the second consecutive start. Dahl ranks second in the RMAC with 43 strikeouts.
- The Pack has struck out a conference-high 164 batters. The ThunderWolves rank sixth in D-II with 12.3 strikeouts per nine innings. The duo of Brieske and Dahl has more punchouts combined (94) than the entire Rangers pitching staff (92).
Scouting Regis:
- The Rangers bring a 5-12 record into the weekend. They started RMAC play dropping four straight games to No.2 Colorado Mesa University.
- Regis ranks ninth in the RMAC in batting average, hitting .282. Their .937 fielding percentage also ranks ninth in the conference.
- The Rangers swept the Pack with three wins at home against the ThunderWolves during the regular season. However, the Pack beat the Rangers in the RMAC Tournament to eliminate them. The ThunderWolves won three-of-four last time these two teams played a series at Rawlings Field.
