PUEBLO, Colo. (February 7, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will welcomes Black Hills State University to Massari Arena Friday at 5:30 p.m. The ThunderWolves will wrap up their season-long four-game homestand against South Dakota Mines & Technology Saturday at 5:30 p.m.

Saturday's game will be the Pack's annual Take-a-Kid-To-a-Game Night. Kids 17 & under will receive free admission. Denver Nuggets Super Mascot Rocky will be at Massari Arena to entertain the crowd throughout the game. Kids will also be able to take photos with Rocky. Both Pack basketball teams will sign autographs Saturday for the kids as well.
The "Starting Five" - CSU-Pueblo's Top Storylines:
1. The ThunderWolves enter the weekend 11-10 overall. They have a 9-6 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. CSU-Pueblo sits in a three-team tie for fifth in the RMAC standings. The Pack swept South Dakota Mines and Black Hills State two weeks ago, knocking off the Hardrockers 56-37, and beating the Yellow Jackets 68-58.

Lauren Heyn (Sr., Penryn, Calif.) earned First Team Academic All-RMAC accolades Heyn became the first ThunderWolf to achieve this feat three times in her career. She has a 3.89 GPA while majoring in Biology.
3. The Pack leads the RMAC with 4.33 blocks per game. The Pack ranks 30th in D-II in blocks per game.
Khiya Adams (Jr., Falcon, Colo.) has blocked nine shots over her last four games, an average of 2.25 blocks per game. Adams now has 1.1 blocks per game, fourth-most in the RMAC.

Jennah Knafelc (Sr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) ranks fifth in the RMAC with 14.5 points per game. Knafelc averages 2.2 steals per game, fourth-most in the RMAC.
5. A good start has been paramount for the Pack. The ThunderWolves are 10-0 when leading at halftime, 0-8 when trailing at the half and 1-2 in games that are tied after 20 minutes.
Scouting Black Hills State:
- The Yellow Jackets own a 12-7 record overall. They are 8-7 in RMAC play. Black Hills State ranks eighth in the RMAC standings.
-Last time the Pack played the Yellow Jackets at Massari Arena, the ThunderWolves beat Black Hills State 84-69 to cut down the nets as RMAC Tournament Champions for a conference- record sixth time. CSU-Pueblo leads the all-time series 11-4. The ThunderWolves have won the last meetings.
- The Yellow Jackets make 35.0 percent from downtown, third-best in the RMAC. Julia Seamans mirrors her team with a third place ranking in 3-point percentage, 39.0 percent. She makes 2.4 3-pointers per game, sixth-best in the RMAC.
Scouting SD Mines:
- The Hardrockers bring a 7-12 overall record into the weekend. SD Mines has posted a 4-11 record in RMAC play.
- The Pack leads the all-time series against the Hardrockers 6-1. They have won the last five meetings including two victories in the RMAC Tournament.
- Anna Haugen ranks second in the RMAC with 8.3 rebounds per game. Haugen was named Defensive Player of the Week after averaging 12.0 rebounds per game last week.
