Senior night and 4th seed on Pack WBB’s mind in Friday’s regular season finale

PUEBLO, Colo. (February 28, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will celebrate the careers of three seniors Friday night at 5:30 p.m. when they play New Mexico Highlands University at Massari Arena. The Pack will also look to move up into the fourth seed in the upcoming Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference/ Under Armour Tournament.

Promotions:
Friday's game will be senior night at Massari Arena. The Pack will recognize seniors Annabelle Brewer (Centennial, Colo.), Lauren Heyn (Penryn, Calif.) and Jennah Knafelc (Highlands Ranch, Colo.) at halftime of Friday's game.
In addition to the senior night celebration, CSU-Pueblo will also celebrate Mardi Gras. The first 300 fans through the doors will receive free Pack beads.

The "Starting Five" - CSU-Pueblo's Top Storylines
1. The Pack has clinched its 17th consecutive RMAC Tournament appearance, which will be the longest active streak in the RMAC after this season. They are 13-8 in RMAC play and currently share fourth place in the RMAC standings with Colorado School of Mines. Due to tiebreakers, the Pack will need to beat the Cowgirls and will also need an Orediggers loss to University of Colorado Colorado Springs to clinch the fourth seed and one more home game.

2. Knafelc scored a career-high 26 points in Saturday's game against Metro State University Denver. She made 9-of-15 from the field and four 3-pointers. Knafelc ranks fourth in the RMAC with 14.8 points per game. She ranks fifth in the RMAC with a 36.0 percent 3-point percentage. Knafelc's 2.2 steals per game ranks third in the RMAC.

3. Heyn is the Pack's lone four-year senior. In her four years at CSU-Pueblo the Pack is 94-29 (.764). She has cut down the nets twice as a RMAC Regular Season Champion and twice as RMAC Tournament Champion. Only Tuileisu Anderson has been a part of more wins at CSU-Pueblo.

4. The Pack remains the RMAC's best blocking team. They average 4.74 blocks per game, which ranks 20th in D-II. The ThunderWolves average 1.31 blocks per game more than any other team in the RMAC. Their 128 total blocks ranks 15th in D-II and first in the South Central Region.

5. Khiya Adams (Jr., Falcon, Colo.) ranks third in the RMAC with a 51.7 field goal percentage. She ranks seventh in the RMAC with 1.0 blocks per game.

Records Watch:
- Heyn now ranks seventh all-time at CSU-Pueblo with 621 career rebounds. She needs 30 more board to jump into sixth all-time. Her .498 career field goal percentage ranks fourth all-time at CSU-Pueblo. Heyn's 105 career blocks ranks fifth all-time.

- Knafelc's 36.2 career 3-point percentage would set a school record. With her four 3-pointers made against the Roadrunner, Knafelc  jumped from 11th to eighth all-time at CSU-Pueblo with 108 career 3-pointers. She needs 3-pointers to vault into seventh all-time. Knafelc's 68 3-pointers this season rank as the fourth-most all-time at CSU-Pueblo.

Scouting New Mexico Highlands:
- New Mexico Highlands shares 14th place in the RMAC.  They are 4-23 overall with a 3-18 record in RMAC play.

- The Pack beat New Mexico Highlands 76-48 Dec.1. This 28-point victory was the Pack's largest margin of victory this season.  The ThunderWolves lead the all-time series with the Cowgirls 53-31. CSU-Pueblo has won the last eight meetings by an average of 22.5points per victory.

- Jordyn Lewis earned RMAC Offensive Player of the Week honors Monday. She averaged 24.0 points per game. She made 50.0 percent from downtown (8-of-16). Lewis leads the Cowgirls with 14.0 per game.
