PUEBLO, Colo. (February 21, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo will begin a three-game homestand to end the regular season when they host Chadron State College Friday and Metro State University Denver Saturday. Both games start at 5:30 p.m. at Massari Arena.

Friday's game against the Eagles will be Faculty & Staff Appreciation Night. All CSU-Pueblo Faculty & Staff will receive Free Admission to Friday's game and up to four free tickets for their friends or family.

The "Starting Five" - CSU-Pueblo's Top Storylines
1. The Pack enter the weekend with a 14-11 record overall. They are 12-7 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. The ThunderWolves remain tied with the Roadrunners and University of Colorado Colorado Springs for fourth place in the RMAC standings. If the Pack can win both of their games this weekend, they will clinch their 17th consecutive RMAC Tournament appearance.

JaNaiya Davis (Fr., Hewitt, Texas) recorded the Pack's first triple-double in 30 years last Friday against the Mountain Lions. Davis scored 20 points, dished out 11 assists, and hauled in 10 rebounds. This was the first true triple-double in program history (The one in 1989 was actually a quadruple-double). Davis' 11 assists was the most by a Pack student-athlete since 2002. She ranks fourth in the RMAC with 3.9 assists per game.
3. With eight rebounds against Colorado School of Mines,
Lauren Heyn (Sr., Penryn, Calif.) moved into eighth all-time at CSU-Pueblo with 608 career boards. Heyn set a career-high with five blocks against the Orediggers. Heyn now needs just two blocks to enter the top-five in program history. She has 102 career rejections. Her .493 career field goal percentage ranks fourth all-time at CSU-Pueblo.
4. The Pack leads the RMAC with 4.6 blocks per game. The ThunderWolves average over a block per game more than any other RMAC team. CSU-Pueblo ranks 23rd in D-II in blocks per game. Heyn has averaged 1.1 blocks per game.

Jennah Knafelc (Sr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) needs just three 3-pointers to enter the top-10 in career 3-pointers in program history. Knafelc enters the weekend with 102 career treys. She has made 36.5 percent from downtown in her two-year Pack career. If she can maintain this percentage, she would set a school record.
Scouting Chadron State:
- The Eagles stand 4-21 overall. They are 3-16 in RMAC play. Chadron State has lost six consecutive games.
- CSU-Pueblo leads the all-time series with Eagles 23-5. The Pack has won the last 22 meetings between the two schools. The Eagles have not beaten CSU-Pueblo since Jan. 5, 2002. CSU-Pueblo escaped the Eagles with a 68-67 win Jan. 19.
- The Eagles have the RMAC's worst turnover margin at -7.04. Chadron State averaged a RMAC-worst 5.9 steals per game. Taryn Foxen leads the Eagles with 11.3 points per game.
Scouting MSU Denver:
- The Roadrunners bring a 13-12 record into the weekend. They are 12-7in RMAC play. MSU Denver has won eight of their last 10 games.
- The Pack trails MSU Denver 32-22 in the all-time series. The Roadrunners beat the Pack 82-51 Jan. 18.
- Jaelynn Smith leads the RMAC with 5.9 assists per game. She averages a team-high 15.4 points per game, third-most in the RMAC. Smith's 5.9 assists per game rank 12th in D-II.
