PUEBLO, Colo. (November 27, 2019) – After earning its first win of the season, Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will look to continue its momentum when the Pack competes at the WT Pak-A-Sak Thanksgiving Classic.

The ThunderWolves will begin play in this tournament Friday when they face Eastern New Mexico University at 11 a.m. They will also challenge the host institution West Texas A&M University Saturday at 1:30 p.m.

1. The Pack rallied from 15 points down to defeat Regis University 68-63 in overtime. This win became the first victory for Head Coach
Tommie Johnson in his first season with the Pack. Johnson's record now stands at 1-2.

JaNaiya Davis (So., Hewitt, Texas) earned Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors after leading the Pack to victory against the Rangers. Davis had a career-high 12 rebounds and four blocks. She also had four steals. This was Davis' first career Player of the Week honor.

Offensively, Davis scored a team-high 24 points, making 7-of-14 from the field and 10-of-12 from the line. Her 24 points also marked a career-high. She had five assists in the win.
4. The Pack ranks seventh in D-II with 6.0 blocks per game. CSU-Pueblo averages 2.5 blocks per game more than any other RMAC team. Davis leads the RMAC with 2.0 blocks per game. The ThunderWolves led the RMAC in blocks in 2018 with 4.72 blocks per game.

Sydni Williams (So., Little Rock, Ark.) shares ninth place in the RMAC in scoring with Davis. Both players have 14.8 points per game. With 8.0 rebounds per game, Davis and Williams rank fourth in the RMAC. Williams 52.2 field goal percentage ranks third in the RMAC.
