PUEBLO, Colo. (November 1, 2019) - The Colorado State University-Pueblo women's soccer team fell 2-0 against Fort Lewis College Friday at Art & Lorraine Gonzales Stadium.
In the match, the Pack recorded 13 shots and put up one corner kick.
Offensively, the ThunderWolves were led by
Cara Siegel (Jr., Pueblo, Colo.) with six shots and four of those landing on frame.
Fort Lewis scored in the 41' after a scramble in front of the net.
The ThunderWolves matched the physical play of the Skyhawks and managed to continue applying pressure against the defense.
CSU-Pueblo had a three minute span starting in the 68' where they fired two shots on goal, one hitting off the post and bounced outside of the net.
FLC extended the lead in the 79', scoring a goal off a corner kick.

Rylie Martin (Sr., Colorado Springs, Colo.) made six saves in full time at the net.
Prior to the match, Head Coach
Sierra Cardenas, her staff and players honored the parents and family supporters who were in attendance at tonight's match in a pregame ceremony.
CSU-Pueblo (6-8-2, 5-5-2 RMAC) will close out the regular season Sunday and play host to Adams State University. Kickoff is set for 11 a.m. at Gonzales Stadium.
Before the match, three seniors will be honored as they will play their final home games as members of the Pack. Martin,
Alicia Ramirez (Oro Valley, Ariz.) and
Justine Martinez (Pueblo, Colo.) will be recognized.
