Pack Volleyball squares off with Mines & UCCS

PUEBLO, Colo. (October 16, 2019) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball returns to the road to face Colorado School of Mines Friday at 6 p.m. The road trip wraps up Saturday when the Pack contends with University of Colorado Colorado Springs Saturday at 5 p.m.

Last Time Out:
The Pack swept Fort Lewis College Friday, but fell to Adams State University Saturday in four sets. Brooke Schilling and Diamond'Nique Young led the Pack to their win over the Skyhawks with 11 kills. Young hit .533 for the match.

Pack Notes:
The Pack holds a 7-10 record overall.  They bring a 5-4 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference games into the weekend. CSU-Pueblo shares seventh place in the RMAC standings.  

Jazzy Espinoza (So., Cheyenne, Wyo.) had five aces Saturday. Espinoza leads the Pack with 0.38 aces per set, sixth most in the RMAC.

Young (Fr., Fresno, Calif.) leads the Pack with 1.20 blocks per set. She ranks fourth in the RMAC in blocks per set, 32nd most in D-II. Espinoza averaged 1.06 blocks per set, eighth-most in the RMAC.

Schilling (Jr., Platteville, Colo.) leads the Pack with 2.50 kills per set. Maddy Wisniewski (Jr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) knocks down 2.15 kills per set.

Kyle Meltzer (Jr., Fort Collins, Colo. )ranks 10th in the RMAC with 4.18 digs per set. Grace Hern (So., Omaha, Neb.) leads the Pack with 5.03 assists per set.
