PUEBLO, Colo. (October 13, 2019) - Colorado State University-Pueblo men's soccer cruised to a 4-0 win Sunday over Colorado Christian, sweeping the weekend home matches this week.

The ThunderWolves recorded a season-high 33 shots in the match and posted 14 corner kicks.

The Pack received scores from Tristan Brown (Jr., Colorado Springs, Colo.), Carlos Espinoza (Jr., Simi Valley, Calif.), Vinzent Zingel (Fr., Aachen, Germany) and Joe McKee (R-So., Plano, Tex.).

From the onset, CSU-Pueblo controlled the tempo of the game and the offense quickly put up consecutive shots on goal. Defensively, the Pack was solid and limited CCU to only two shots in the game, one shot in each half.

The ThunderWolves broke the scoreless affair in the 44' when Richard Panknin (Jr., Sassnitz, Germany) drove the ball up midfield and passed ahead to Brown who put the ball to the far post for the score.

At halftime, the Pack had recorded 21 shots against one by the Cougars.

The scoring continued in the 56', following a great passing by Michael Chism (R-Sr., Littleton, Colo.) and Marvin Zajonz (Jr., Reutlingen, Germany) set up the Espinoza goal.

Zingel added to his team leading goal total this season in the 75', hitting a ball from 15 yards away after settling a pass by Panknin.

McKee registered goal number two on the season with just over one minute left in regulation. Scott McGuane (Sr., Brisbane, Australia) earned the assist on the play.
