PUEBLO, Colo. (November 21, 2018) - Colorado State University-Pueblo Women's Basketball will celebrate its Thanksgiving as the ThunderWolves travel to the Pak-A-Sak Thanksgiving Classic where they will play Eastern New Mexico University Friday at 11 a.m. (MTN) and No. 7 West Texas A&M University Saturday at 1:30 p.m. (MTN).

The Starting 5 – the top five Pack storylines
- The Pack enters the weekend 2-2. They split their series against University of Montana Western. A late 3-pointer from
Jennah Kanfelc (Sr., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) led the Pack to a 68-64 victory Saturday. Knafelc scored a career-best 22 points in the Pack's victory over the Bulldogs.
- CSU-Pueblo leads the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference with 3.50 blocks per game.
Lauren Heyn (Sr., Penryn, Calif.) ranks fifth in the RMAC with 1.0 blocks per game.
Khiya Adams and
Sydni Williams each have three blocks this season.
- Five ThunderWolves have posted double digit scoring averages this season. Heyn leads the Pack with 13.5 points per game.
JaNaiya Davis (Fr., Hewitt, Texas) ranks second on the Pack with 13.3 points per game. Adams and Williams each average 12.5 points per game. Knafelc has scored 11.3 points per game.
- Williams (So., Little Rock, Ark.) leads the RMAC in field goal percentage. She has made 65.4 percent of her shots from the field. Williams has also made 16-of-19 (84.2 percent) at the charity stripe.
- Adams (Jr., Falcon, Colo.) ranks seventh in the RMAC with 7.8 rebounds per game. She had her first career double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds in the Pack's win Saturday. Davis ranks seventh in the RMAC with 3.8 assists per game.
Records Watch:
- With seven rebounds in the opening weekend, Heyn moved into the top 10 all-time at CSU-Pueblo. She now has 556 career rebounds, passing Timmi-Jo Miller for 10th place. With five rebounds, Heyn will vault past Jackie Borgstedt for ninth all-time at CSU-Pueblo.
Scouting Eastern New Mexico:
- The Greyhounds are 2-1 to start the season. They defeated RMAC foes New Mexico Highlands University (66-38) and Fort Lewis College (58-55) before losing to Abilene Christian. Eastern New Mexico went 16-12 in 2017-18.
- The Pack will look for a measure of revenge against the Greyhounds who beat the Pack 62-61 last year. CSU-Pueblo leads the series 7-6.
- Treyanna Clay leads the Greyhounds with 10.6 points per game. Eastern New Mexico leads the Lone Star Conference 13.0 steals per game. Their 5.67 turnover margin also leads the RMAC.
Scouting West Texas A&M:
- The LadyBuffs are 4-0 on the year. They were ranked No.7 in the Women's Basketball Coaches Association poll. West Texas went 29-5 and won the Lone Star Conference last season.
- West Texas leads the all-time series 5-1. The LadyBuffs beat the Pack 65-49 last season.
- Tyesha Taylor leads the Lone Star Conference with a 66.7 percent field goal percentage. Taylor has averaged a team-best 17.5 points per game to start the season. She ranks third in the Lone Star Conference in points per game.
