Box Score DENVER, Colo. (October 13, 2018) – Colorado State University-Pueblo Volleyball could not upset Metro State University Denver as the Roadrunners prevailed 3-0 (19-25, 21-25, 15-25) Saturday at the Auraria Event Center.
Berkley Hays (Fr., Dallas, Texas) led the Pack's offensive attack with 10 kills. Hays also swatted two blocks. She hit a team-best .364 for the match.
Sarah Vang (Jr., Parker, Colo.) matched Hays with 10 kills. Vang now has double-digit kills in three of her last four matches.
Libero, Page Heller (Jr., Vancouver, Wash.) collected 15 digs. Heller is just five digs shy of becoming the seventh ThunderWolf to pick up 400 digs in a single season.
Grace Hern (Fr., Omaha, Neb.) recorded 25 assists. She completed her eighth double-double with and 10 digs.
Maddy Wisniewski (So., Highlands Ranch, Colo.) recorded five kills and six digs. She also put down the team's only two aces.
The Pack is now 4-18 with a 2-11 record in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play. They have not beaten MSU Denver since 1999. The Roadrunners improved to 14-6 (10-2 RMAC).
The ThunderWolves will look to reverse their fortunes when they return home Friday. The Pack will start a season-long four-match homestand Oct. 19 when they host new RMAC foe Dixie State at 7 p.m. in Massari Arena.
