TOUGH ENOUGH WEBSITE

PUEBLO, Colo. (June 22, 2015)  – Former Colorado State University-Pueblo football standout Josh Bredl (Thornton, Colo.) has been selected as a finalist for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Tough Enough, a reality television series, which premieres Tuesday, June 23 at 8/7 central on USA Network.

Bredl was selected from more than 11,100 video entries to participate in a tryout for 40 WWE Superstar and Diva hopefuls, which took place June 10-12 in Florida. June 12, he was selected as one of 13 finalists (seven men) to appear on the TV show where the winners (one man and one woman) earn a one-year, $250,000 contract.

The competition serves as the sixth season of Tough Enough, which originally aired in 2001, and will run weekly on Tuesdays. Chris Jericho will be the host, with Hulk Hogan, Daniel Bryan, and Paige serving as judges, while Billy Gunn, Booker T, and Lita will serve as trainers/coaches. The show will air live from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

MORE ABOUT WWE TOUGH ENOUGH

WWE Tough Enough combines the can't-miss excitement of live television with reality-show drama, as WWE hopefuls vie for the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to become the next WWE Superstar or Diva. Unlike anything on television today, the lightning-fast hour of entertainment and competition will include live results every week, giving fans worldwide the power to decide who stays and who goes the very same night.

Every week, the three judges will each nominate one competitor they believe should be cut, and it will be up to the WWE Universe to vote and determine who they feel is "Tough Enough," to remain in the competition. The competitor with the least number of votes will be eliminated. Throughout the season, each judge will have the ability to save one competitor from being sent home. Ultimately, one man and one woman will be considered "Tough Enough," with each earning a one-year, $250,000 WWE contract.
