COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com – Mar. 4, 2014) — The Colorado State University-Pueblo ThunderWolves had four players selected to the All-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference teams, announced Tuesday by conference officials, a group led by first team selection Taylor Fox (Sr., Santa Cruz, Calif.). Junior Katie Nehf (Broomfield, Colo.) and senior Paige Ramm (Sr., Prescott, Ariz.) earned second team accolades while Alex Evans (Sr., Louisville, Colo.) picked up a third team nod.
Fox, a 6-foot-2 senior wing, led the Pack in both scoring and rebounding in the regular season averaging 14.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game to rank 11th and sixth in the RMAC, respectively. She has also tallied a team-high six double-doubles to go along with 46 assists and 30 steals and leads the team with 45 3-pointers.
Fox also ranks ninth in the RMAC for field goal percentage at .408.
Nehf, a 6-foot-2 post, averaged 10.8 points and 6.9 rebounds per game throughout the season and also led the Pack and the RMAC with 59 blocked shots while ranking third in the league and tops on the squad with 56 steals. She also has 72 assists
Ramm, a 5-foot-8 wing, is averaging 12.1 points, second most on the squad, and 4.0 rebounds per game while ranking third on the team in assists with 65 and tied for third with 34 steals.
Evans, a 5-foot-7 wing, is averaging 10.9 points and 3.2 rebounds per game and has 63 assists and 34 steals.
As a team, the Pack went 21-7 in the regular season to match the program record for regular season wins. They also went 18-4 in RMAC play and easily earned the second seed in the RMAC Shootout, which begins Tuesday night. The Pack, who were also fourth in last week's NCAA Division II South Central Regional Rankings, host seventh-seed Metro State (13-13, 12-10 RMAC) at 7 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
