SPEARFISH, S.D. (GoThunderWolves.com – Feb. 21, 2014) – Katie Nehf (Jr., Broomfield, Colo.) and Paige Ramm (Sr., Prescott, Ariz.) combined for 49 points while Taylor Fox (Santa Cruz, Calif.) tallied a 13-point, 12-rebound double-double to lead the CSU-Pueblo women's basketball team to its third straight win, 73-61 at Black Hills State, Friday night here in the Donald Young Center.

Ramm, whose total of 24 matched a career-high, scored the Pack's first 10 points of the second half as she single-handedly broke a 28-28 dead-lock at the half.

Scoring the first seven points of the half in the first 2:12, she then tallied her second 3-pointer of the half 15:24 putting CSU-Pueblo up 38-31.

Another Ramm trey then helped the Pack build a 54-42 lead with less than nine minutes to go as the CSU-Pueblo cruised to their 19th overall win against just six defeats.

CSU-Pueblo also improved to 16-3 in Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference play, assuring them of the second seed in next week's RMAC Shootout.  Black Hills State fell to 12-12 and to 11-9 in conference play.

Nehf was 8-for-14 from the floor and added five blocked shots and eight rebounds while Ramm nailed five 3-pointers overall on just seven attempts and was 7-for-11 from the field overall.  She also tallied nine rebounds as the Pack finished the night with a 45-28 edge on the glass.

Black Hills State was paced by Dakota Barrie's 16 points but shot just 33.3 percent (20-60) from the field.

The Pack, who shot at a 43.4 percent (23-53) clip, will look to earn their 20th win for the fourth time in the last six years on Saturday when they play at Chadron State (4-20, 4-16 RMAC), 81-73 losers to UC-Colorado Springs on Friday.
