WACO, Texas (October 6, 2014) – Colorado State University-Pueblo football remained the nation's No. 2 team in the American Football Coaches Association Division II Poll, released Monday, to earn the ranking for the fifth straight week.
The ThunderWolves (735 points) received one first-place vote, while the No. 1 Northwest Missouri State University Bearkats (774 points) earned the other 30. The Pack defeated Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference-rival Adams State University, 17-7 Saturday.
Minnesota State University, Mankato (698 points) was again the nation's No. 3, while University of Minnesota Duluth (682 points) and North Alabama University (641 points) were No. 4 and No. 5, respectfully.
The RMAC was also represented by Colorado School of Mines, as the Orediggers moved up a spot to No. 16 following a 42-35 victory Saturday versus New Mexico Highlands University.
