PUEBLO, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - July 8, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo has garnered preseason top ten rankings in two major college football preseason preview magazines, Lindy's College Football 2013 Preview and The Sporting News College Football 2013 Preview.

CSU-Pueblo has been picked to finish eighth in the nation in 2013 by Lindy's and 10th by the Sporting News, a couple spots lower than its final national ranking of 6th in 2012.  The main reason given by both publications for the small drop was the ThunderWolves' loss of key seniors, including quarterback Ross Dausin, who went 32-4 as a starter over three seasons, and two-time All-American tackle Ryan Jensen, who was drafted during by the Baltimore Ravens in April.  

In addition to the team rankings, two ThunderWolves were recognized as first-team Preseason All-Americans in the publications.  

Punter Brandon Kliesen (Sr., Pueblo, Colo.) was named preseason All-America by Lindy's while C.J. Roberts (Jr., Boynton Beach, Fla.) was named a preseason All-America defensive back by The Sports News.  Both were All-Americans in 2012.
