ALAMOSA, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Nov. 9, 2013) - CSU-Pueblo closed out the Adams State Bankers' Classic Saturday in style as four players scored in double-figures during a 73-64 win over Eastern New Mexico.
CSU-Pueblo showed dominance throughout, rebounding from a 7-2 deficit to start the game to re-take the lead and never relinquish for the remainder of the contest. CSU-Pueblo would lead by as much as 18 points in second half before the Zias closed the gap late to keep the final margin under 10 points.
Taylor Fox (Sr., Santa Cruz, Calif.) led all scorers with 22 points to go along with eight rebounds while Dee Arrieta (So., Pueblo West, Colo.) shot 3-for-7 fron three to score 13 points. The win was huge for the ThunderWolves, which opened its season with a hard-fought loss to 10th-ranked Midwestern State, but starting the season 0-2 was not an option.

CSU-Pueblo will now return home to open its home slate next weekend, hosting McMurry (Texas) and Oklahoma Christian in the 30th Annual Al Kaly Shriners' Classic at Massari Arena. Both Friday and Saturday, the ThunderWolves will tip at approximately 5 p.m.
