ThunderWolves finish season ranked sixth in the nation

WACO, Texas (GoThunderWolves.com - Dec. 17, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo finished the 2012 season ranked sixth in the country according to the final American Football Coaches' Association Division II Poll, released Monday.

The ThunderWolves, which advanced to the NCAA Division II Quarterfinals before losing to West Texas A&M to finish the season 12-1, finished behind national champion Valdosta State, each of the other three semifinalists, and fifth-ranked Missouri Western State.

The ranking of sixth is the highest Division II final ranking in program history, besting the ranking of ninth set last season.
