SILVER CITY, N.M. (GoThunderWolves.com - Dec. 14, 2012) - CSU-Pueblo suffered its sixth loss in seven games Friday as it fell to a 99-87 defeat at Western New Mexico.
In a game that was much closer than the score would indicate, the Mustangs put up a several late vanity points to pad its lead after the game was neck-and-neck for the first 30 minutes of the game.
The Pack started off the game strongly, going up by as much as nine in the first half, opening the game with an 11-3 lead. As the Pack got off to its fast start, which saw a 20-11 lead at its height, the ThunderWolves sank four three-pointers and hit eight of its first 14 attempts.
