Pack battered by Adams State

ALAMOSA, Colo. (GoThunderWolves.com - Feb. 12, 2011) - CSU-Pueblo was thoroughly pummelled by archrival Adams State Saturday, suffering one of the worst losses in recent memory, falling 96-45 to the Grizzlies.

It marked the second-straight loss for the ThunderWolves, who fall to 13-9 and 10-8 in RMAC play.

CSU-Pueblo never led in the game, victimized by a 12-0 opening by Adams State, which shellshocked the Pack.  After that opening run, the ThunderWolves would only get as close as six and trailed by double-digits for the final 31 minutes of the game.

The Pack was dwarfed statistically, shooting just 27.9 percent, compared to 59.7 percent by Adams State, and was out-boarded a remarkable 56-17.

CSU-Pueblo will now return home where it will host Nebraska-Kearney and Chadron State to close out its home schedule.
