Chadron State 3, CSU-Pueblo 1
CHADRON, Neb. - The ThunderWolves had another off night Saturday
when it faced Chadron State, falling in four sets to the Eagles.
Despite standout nights from Janae Heiser (So.,
Westminster, Colo.) and Alea Wildman (So., Denver,
Colo.), who logged 20 and 17 kills, respectively, the
difference was the Pack's inability to close out close sets, as the
Eagles converted more big points when it counted. No set was
won by more than three points, as Chadron prevailed 25-22, 23-25,
25-23 and 26-24.
Errors also doomed the Pack, as the CSU-Pueblo committed 29
attack errors (.204 attack percentage) to just 16 errors by Chadron
(.229 attack percentage).
The Pack will continue on its road trip next weekend when it
faces UC-Colorado Springs Thursday before travelling to Golden to
take on the Colorado School of Mines.
