Colorado Mines 3, CSU-Pueblo 0
GOLDEN, Colo. - CSU-Pueblo fell to its fifth straight loss
Saturday night when Colorado School of Mines blanked the Pack three
sets to none.
CSU-Pueblo lost 25-22, 25-15 and 25-21.
The Pack continued to make improvements in their game, keeping
attack errors to a minimum, only committing 18 errors, but had
trouble keeping Mines in check. The Orediggers hit at a .324
clip, and the normally strong blocking game of the ThunderWolves
could only connect for two blocks of Mines attacks.
CSU-Pueblo was again led by sophomore Janae Heiser (So.,
Westminster, Colo.), who had 12 kills, but committed eight
errors and hit .129. Megan Koop (Fr.,
Littleton, Colo.) and Bernadette Pitre
(So., Clifton, Colo.) had nine kills each.
The Pack will look to get back on the right track Thursday when
it returns home for a four-match home stand, beginning with
Colorado Christian.
