Gavin Nye (R-So., Gerber, Calif.) went 2-1 at heavyweight for the ThunderWolves at the Tracy Borah Duals Saturday in Gunnison. He totaled a team-high nine team points with a pin and decision win, while his lone loss (6-4 decision) came to a Division I wrestler from Air Force.

Ahead 19-15 with only the heavyweight bout left, Nye secured a 25-15 dual victory for the Pack against Findlay with a first period pin at 1:19.

In his first match of the day, he won by an 8-3 decision against a wrestler from Indianapolis.
