Yelena Travica (Jr., Winnipeg, Manitoba) won three matches at the ITA South Central Regionals. She won her match of pool play against Texas A&M-Kingsville's Yasmin El Fadili 6-1, 7-6 (7-3) and later in the 'B' Draw, Travica and teammate Fernanda Martinez earned a win by default when Lubbock Christian's duo withdrew.

The duo continued on and competed on day two and she finished doubles play with a 1-2 record while earning a 2-1 showing in singles 'B' Draw.

Up next, the tennis team enter the break and will take the next couple of months to train before returning to action Feb. 1 at University of New Mexico.
