Caitlyn Cole (So., Merced, Calif.) received Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Player of the Week accolades after leading Pack softball in a 2-2 series split including taking two games on Sunday against MSU Denver. Sunday's win in game one for the Pack handed the Roadrunners their first loss in conference play and the ThunderWolves would follow it with another victory to close the series.
For the weekend, Cole slugged four home runs, hitting one in each game, and hit a double, and registered seven runs, seven RBI, five walks, and 19 total bases. She hit for 1.727 slugging and recorded a .706 on-base mark and was 2-for-3 in stolen base attempts.
She finished with an unblemished mark defensively and recorded 17 putouts and one assist.
Cole currently leads the RMAC in five categories including average (.495), slugging (.946), on-base (.595), OPS (1.541), and doubles (16). She is T-1st in stolen bases (19), 3rd in RBI (35) and fourth in home runs (8).
She is 4th in Division II in OBP, 13th in slugging and is 16th in batting average.
