Katherine Higgins (Fr., Castle Rock, Colo.) tabbed a first-place finish in the shot put with a mark of 14.65 meters at the Colorado School of Mines Twilight.

She followed that with a fifth-place finish in weight throw with a mark of 14.40 meters.

The track and field team will next compete at the RMAC Championships, March 11-12 in Pittsburg, Kansas.
