PUEBLO, Colo. (April 2, 2021) - Colorado State University Pueblo men's soccer will host No. 14 Colorado School of Mines in a battle of the unbeaten, as both teams enter the week atop the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference standings with two weeks left in the regular season.
The ThunderWolves are back on the pitch after going 1-0-1 in a two-game road trip last week. The Pack defeated Colorado Christian, 2-0 behind goals from
Miguel De Leon Jr. (Deltona, Fla.) and
Emil Joensson (Fr.,
Kristianstad, Sweden).
On Sunday,
Joe O'Sullivan (Sr., Ocala, Fla.) scored his second goal of the season in the fourth minute at Fort Lewis. The ThunderWolves and Skyhawks finished in a 1-1 (2OT) tie.
Dominik Huetgens (Jr., Halstenbek, Germany) earned an assist on the play.
Pack defender
Nick Burgess (Sr., Melbourne, Fla.) guided the Pack's back line in limiting scoring chances for FLC.
This week, the ThunderWolves take on No. 14 Mines and will seek to get the upper hand in the RMAC standings going to the final weeks of the season.
