Arguably the top women's basketball player in CSU-Pueblohistory, Rachel Espinoza is entering her second season as anassistant coach with the ThunderWolves.

As a coach, she helped guide the ThunderWolves to their bestregular season record in school history in 2012 (21-5) and itsfirst ever at-large bid to the NCAA Division II NationalTournament.

Espinoza enjoyed a successful playing career with the Pack,finishing second on the ThunderWolves' all-time scoring charts with1,482 points, second in assists with 388 assists, and second insteals with 224. 

Her biggest crowning achievement was the ThunderWolves' successas a team, having her hand in three RMAC Championship squads in2008, 2009 and 2010, earning RMAC Shootout MVP honors asa sophomore in 2009. 

Espinoza, a Pueblo-native and graduate of Pueblo Central HighSchool, resides in Pueblo.
